Hi Shatters,

A lot of people seem to believe the crap about the hat. I say no way!

Based on the look Emily gave MIB when she put her hat back on, I took it as a dad joke. He was saying the truth but indicating the hat at the same time to fuck with her. And: at first she ripped off her hat presumably because she didn’t want to be scanned but then put it back on when she understood it’s not actually a hat scanner (and her dad is a “hat scammer”).
