The Scorpion 2.0 Misuse Isn’t A Plot Hole
Big fan of the podcast. I had a thought about how Daenerys was able to attack the Iron Fleet and Kings Landing unharmed. The Scorpion 2.0s are interesting as they’re not a straight upgrade like we thought. They’re much longer range and likely harder hitting at short range, but traverse very slowly meaning they can’t track a dragon at close range and they reload slower than the originals. The ships should have one Scorpion 2.0 on the bow for long-range anti-air and anti-ship, and 2-3 Scorpion 1.0s down each side for short range AA. Also the walls should have a mix of 2.0s and 1.0s. I want to emphasize their misuse isn’t a plot hole because no one in Westeros knows what they’re doing in terms of anti-air defense, this is all theoretical for them.
Thanks,
Barrett
