Great instacast – it was good to hear your positivity, because there’s been quite a bit of negative reaction, especially from book readers and deep theory-crafters – because things did not go how we expected! Of course the books may be quite different, but in the show the Azor Ahai prophecy just apparently fizzled out…

Personally I was happy to be surprised, and my only disappointment was that there was no set-piece fight between some named characters and white walkers, but I still enjoyed the episode immensely. Can’t wait for the Trial by Seven in episode 6 😉
