Thoughts On Jon’s Loose Lips

Hey Guys,

I have a different take on Jon’s apparent naievety in spilling the beans to Sansa and Arya regarding who he really is. I believe that deep down he is wrestling, much like Tyrien is with the growing concern that Dani is becoming ever more unhinged and although he can’t ultimately bring himself to take charge of the situation, his subconscious if you like is pushing him to do things that will ultimately let others deal with the issue in his stead.

A few other thoughts on what’s to come, I think that we may see Vary’s end in much the same way as we saw Little Finger depart the show and a fitting symmetry in some ways it would be, I think that Dani will learn of Vary’s impending treachery and may well execute him for treason, so we’d see Vary’s being executed for trying to do good whilst Little Finger was executed for simply being bad, they were two sides of the same coin.

I agree with Big D, wondering why Missi didn’t grab Cersei and take her over the edge, and wondering why Tormond, Sam, Breon have all seemingly departed and weakening the troops in the process, the job is only half done for heavens sake and they are all behaving like ultimate victory has been achieved.

Also, when the ships were all smashed up and the survivors were washed up on shore, how come Cersei didn’t have a legion of troops stood on the shore waiting for them!!!

Another point, the whole Bron being sent after Jamie and Tyrien thing is utter nonsense, she twice now has had the chance to kill Tyrien and has twice not been able to bring herself to do it, I know you could argue that she wants them dead and can’t bring hereself to do it, but I think that there is a crack there in her evilness!!! and she would not have sent Bron off to kill them. If Bron had come back one day and said to her that he’d killed them both, she would have been devastated I believe. She simply would not have done that.

One final thought on the trailer to next weeks episode, if you watch the final clip you hear the Drogon from somewhere in the clouds and then you see Yuron’s reaction when he finally sees Drogon appear, if you notice Yuron’s facial expression it suggests to me he’s seeing something that he wasn’t expecting to see. He’s seen Dragons flying in the sky before, that look of wonder would not be there anymore, but here there is that look again on his face. I believe that (and I don’t know how they’ve done it) we may see Drogon with, finally some form of protection on his body, an armour plated Dragon if you will, and it’s frightened the hell out of Yuron.

Cheers guys
