MIB dying- a listener postulated that the difference between MIB being shot in episode 1 and the finale may show he died. I disagree. The shooting in episode 1 occurs in Sweetwater with Teddy on his standard “loser” loop. Remember this loop gives anyone the chance to kill Teddy and have their wicked way with Dolores. It’s entry level gaming to ease you in. The bullets have no effect as Sweetwater is the easy intro into Westworld.

I’m not sure what gun Teddy has in the finale but he may have an upgraded weapon that gives the guests more of a kick for the more extreme junkies.

Bernard – He definitely is not a hybrid. Ford designs him in the likeness of Arnold but he is a completely separate entity. Like Hector is a “likeness” of a kind of Sizemore. Still a normal host.
