Tyrion Isn’t Jealous of Jon Snow or Daenerys Targaryen

Jon and Dany nor is he in love with the Queen.

He is concerned about what their relationship could mean for the coming conflict and resolving the war.

As Hand and her most trusted advisor, Tyrion has seen his succession plans and battle tactics soundly defeated on the field and rejected by the Queen.

His latest idea was to parley at the Dragonpit, which came crashing down when Jon announced that he had bent the knee to Dany and would serve her.

Tyrion was unaware of this development, and he is seeing his influence diminish.

Now, he has orchestrated a truce with Cersei (even though she lied).

What did he promise?

Some are suggesting that he promised Cersei that her child would be Daenerys’s heir.

What would happen if Jon impregnates Dany?

I am not sold on this being the reason for Tyrion frustratedly staring as Jon enters Dany’s cabin, but it’s a possibility.

What may also concern him is what happens if she starts solely listening to Jon?

This happened shortly before the boatsex scene, when Dany goes with Jon’s plan instead of Jorah’s.

Tyrion ponders many things in that scene – will Jon do what is best for Dany and Westeros; what happens if they both fall in the great war; and how does Dany stop the wheel from turning if an heir with her blood and Jon’s blood grows inside of her?
