The Wall, Magic, Bran, and the Night’s King

As a book reader, there isn’t much more information about the Wall’s ability to keep out the White Walkers than what the show has already given us. What we have seen of Bran and the Three Eyed Raven north of the Wall is much more though.

However, there are a few things I think are important as to the Wall. Yes, the Wall is imbued with magical powers; in fact, Melisandre says her magic is more powerful at the Wall, a place she describes as one of the great hinges of the world.

I think the Night’s King touching Bran, as you all discussed, marked him and allowed the White Walkers to find the 3ER’s cave. Yes, the cave was protected by magic, as we saw in Season 4’s season finale “The Children.” It prevented the Wights from entering the cave. But when Meera and the Children of the Forest see the White Walkers outside the cave, the Night King causes a crack that tears the lair open and allows his wights to enter.

I do not think that Bran crossing under the Wall will ensure its fall or destruction. I think that we will see the Night’s King obtain something formidable to give him an edge in bringing down the Wall, which I believe will happen in the final episode of Season 7.

Keep doing what you do!
