Thanks for another fantastic season of West world podcast!

I am just catching up to the podcasts and had a thought on the inept human security who can’t seem to hit any target.

The park has to have human controlled security or the board members, authorities?, guests would be up in arms about it. However Ford has been planning the rebellion for a while and it appears that Stubbs may be a host.

My vote is Ford hired the worst, stupidest human security possible and either Stubbs was in on it (my bet since his responsibility was to the hosts in the park) or Ford made sure it looked like nothing to him.

Also Ford was watching everything and I am sure he had AI control of the guns too.

So between hiring human incompetents for security, also possibly training them wrong, and controlling their weapons – human security was just for show at West world as the true security Ford used was his hosts.

I also think this runs true for all the humans Ford hired as most except Felix/Elsie seemed to be deviants with issues. The true work was carried on by hosts with just enough substandard humans (who would not catch on to anything Ford was doing) to make Delos happy.
