Westworld 203

Hey everyone,

I will just jump right in, this is the first Westworld episode that I didn’t like. To be clear, it was bad compared to previous episodes of Westworld but still a masterpiece when compared to the dumpster fire that is The Walking Dead (at least TWD’s CGI tiger looked better). I still enjoyed some parts, like when Lee has a Dr. Grant from Jurassic Park moment and notices that the hosts are evolving into their own story lines (Maeve and Hector).

What I didn’t enjoy was the campiness of the episode. Deloras got a bit annoying with how overly dramatic she continues to get, which makes the possibility that she isn’t thinking freely more likely as each episode goes by.

Also, that ridiculous battle scene! You’re telling me this elite QA team is going to roll down a hill, in the open, shoulder to shoulder attacking a fortress of robots? That is Revolutionary War tactics. Anyone who has spent time in the military was more than likely cringing at that.

I could ramble on with how frustrated I was, but I will have to rewatch it rather than continue to complain. Keep kicking ass!
