I am a long-time listener of the Shat on TV podcasts. Ive been with you since season one of Westworld. I even rode with you through Taboo. And I have never been more compelled to write in than I have been this week.

Every week Or scratch that Every Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday I anxiously check my podcast feed looking for a new updated podcast from this team. Im excited to hear your perspective and your listeners perspectives on Westworld. However, I feel like easily 30% of your podcast season has been dedicated to responding to feedback from listeners in quite a defensive way. All of you! This is not a dig specifically on Ash.

I write this email to give you the confidence to push forward. This is your podcast, do it in the way that serves you. That level of conviction and clarity is what has gained to follow worship that you have, and why this podcast is so successful. But if I have to listen to more commentary about listener feedback, and quite honestly your defensive responses to that feedback, it will be a reason to stop listening to the show.

It feels like were getting short changed on content. So with that I wish you all well, I thank you greatly for the work that youve put into making the show everything that it is. It has certainly enhanced my enjoyment of Westworld the show, and is a part of my week that I eagerly look forward to. And with that I beg you to not read this email on the show. I think weve dedicated enough for time to this conversation.
