Westworld Finale

Hey guys, love the podcast. A few things:

1. I used to listen to a lot of sports radio on Sirius XM 4-5 years ago. I’m not 100% sure, but I swear there was a Driver Bob that used to be a regular caller into either Dan Le Batard or one of the fantasy football shows. He was a celebrity. You guys should feel honored he has chosen your podcast.

2. I’m surprised at all the shade that is being thrown at Westworld this season regarding it being too confusing, especially from Gene in this last episode. I would expect it from the we-shit-on-everything reviewers at the Atlantic, but was a little disappointed to hear it from you. It’s about time a show made us think a little and that all the mysteries aren’t spelled out in front of us. Reminds me of the Matrix on how it took several viewings before you fully understood it. To be able to do that with the incredible acting, scenery, production value, etc over 11 hours of TV is incredible. And for them to be able to hide the major plot twist from thousands of podcast and twitter followers was incredible, especially considering it was one of the few logical ways that Dolores could actually get off the island. Yes, you can nitpick Maeve’s powers and Sizemore’s death (the same way you can nitpick a man swimming a mile under water in full armor or how an entire season’s plot was driven by the ridiculous idea to get a zombie to sway Cersei), but you’ll never enjoy anything if you do that. Westworld and Better Call Saul are, in my opinion, some of the best shows on TV right now.
