You’ve probably got tons of emails about this but I have to say that when I first saw episode 1, and I’ve only watched it once, I thought the cards the QA, Maling, was looking at when Bernard was first found was showing hosts that needed to be eliminated, not guests.

The QA, Maling, that was going to shoot Bernard looked at the card after Stubbs came in and said that Bernard was ‘the boss’. She then looked very suspiciously at Bernard, as if she was thinking, ‘um, this here guy is a fucking host, so on your head be it.’

And if you think about it that way it makes sense of the way she kept looking at him in the rest of the scenes they were in together.
