Westworld Season 2

Hi guys,
Great podcast. I’m a regular and dedicated listener.

Have a request, and two predictions for Season 2:

First, I would love if you three would go back, watch each episode again as Evan Rachel Wood instructed, and produce a new deep dive for each episode 1-9, informed by what we all have learned at the end of the first season. I would be very interested to hear your reinterpretations of past events now that many mysteries have been answered.

Predictions: 1. The Southwest scenery is too dramatic to forsake and too essential to the show. Although hosts and other characters may venture onto the mainland/”real world” (or other parks), I maintain that the bulk of the storytelling in future seasons will take place in Westworld, although I agree it will no longer function as a theme park.

It seems to me that if the hosts massacred the board and all the human guests in Escalante, humankind could retaliate by simply levelling Westworld with nuclear or other weapons of mass destruction. But if the hosts captured or imprisoned some of the board inside Westworld, that would discourage humans from destroying the park. With most hosts unable to leave Westworld (due to the C6 vertebra), and some humans caught inside, Westworld could serve as the stage where the conflict between humans and hosts plays out.
