Bernard Host Busted??

While forcing someone to try the show out I got to rewatch episode one and caught something Ford said to Bernard said. Side note she didn’t like the show and now I’m afraid I cant be friends with my sister anymore 🙁

Anyhoo, here’s what was said in the first interaction we see between Ford and Bernard. They are in the basement with Stubb’s “swat team” investigating the activity between Ford and the old host.

Ford: Old Bill here was always a good listener. He was the second host we ever built. Were you with us in those days Bernard or was that before your time?

Bernard: Most were decommissioned before I was brought on I’m afraid.

So, unless Ford is just outright role playing for appearances then the assumption has to be that Bernard is human since Ford can’t remember if Bernard was there for the second ever host being made. Unless he was the first :O [old school emojis ;-)]

Am I putting too much faith in Fords ramblings?

A few extra thoughts:

If man in black is William where is his mole?
It doesn’t seem like there is an actual Arnold. The “voice” they’re hearing is just the old code talking to them like Ford explained as an inner monologue. It’s their sentience.
What would happen if they stopped wiping them? It sure seems like that would lead to full awareness by itself with no top of the triangle.
Ford once said “we can cure any disease and keep even the weakest of us alive” so what could the man in blacks foundation help? The guy that tried to thank him said “you literally saved my sisters…” we assumed he meant life but it could be anything.
Sylvester told Felix one of his personality traits should have been weeded out in the embryo (paraphrasing) so if you don’t die and you can pick and chose dna traits then aren’t you just as “made” as Maeve?
I don’t think Maeve woke herself up this last time. I think whatever Felix was doing to the bird changed her programming.
Has anybody checked to see if the maze changes every time its shown? I’m way too lazy to see but it would be fun if appeared different depending on who looks at it.
And lastly y’all are absolutely wrong about the fast and lose rules when the park was first made. Things may have be more lax but there is no way that nitro is real.
