Westworld Season Finale

Hey guys, jus finished the deep dive.
I couldn’t agree more that this finale left me feeling indifferent. I didn’t love it and I didnt hate it. I feel like we had so many questions all season it kinda sucked 2 b left with so many more questions. For me there were a lot of pros but way too many cons
Pros:
Best pro- Bernard getting that much needed closure. I agree that I felt it was so weird that Lauren just accepted that he was Arnold, however when i thought about it, she couldn’t have been married to him and not know what he was working on. I believe that towards the end of his life he may have told her that there could be the possibility of something like Robot Arnold existing. That reconciliation was the end of Bernard’s last loop, the loop of loss, and the guilt he felt for how he left things. He needed to grow from that to really be ready for the final phase 2. Maeve returning to herself even if it was jus the last few minutes of the season. That convo she had with Delores was one of the best moments of the show 3.Delores not being completely evil was super awesome. Remember that she was never ‘evil’ until Ford added wyatt to her code, so to see that she was still herself deep down in there was great!! That Delores reassembling herself, the foresight, and execution ?? 4. Charlotte establishing herself as the villain moving forward. I believe it was Delores who killed her family, and I think Charlotte does as well. She never gave the host reproduction data to Delores, she kept if for her own plans. I think Serac/Rehobo was only after that additional data in Delores, and was so focused on it that Charlotte was able to infiltrate the Delos system fix herself and begin building her army. Cannot wait to see her story develop. I agree with Big D, that the playing field has been leveled, and the real battle will begin

Cons:
1.The revelation of why Caleb was the chosen one. Extremely anti climactic. It got me thinking though that maybe because he didnt fall in line like the rest of the squad that that was the first indication of him being an outlier Serac being the literal voice of Rehoboam, I found it hard to accept that someone as intelligent as he would jus surrender his free will like that. I dodnt like it 2. I WAS SO READY FOR THE RIOT ROBOTS!!!
3.Wtf!! I was hype to find out Stubbs was a host, but what happened to him this season sucked ass, I kept waiting for him to b a double agent, or Delores or something huge let down #chubbslifematters 4. Lawrence really???
5. Ash and Giggles
And finally the biggest con of all, fucking William gets killed by a damn host!!! After all we’ve been through, after all he’s been through, that was THE worst way 4 him to go out. I was soooooooo pissed. He deserved better, but Host william looked real badass coming down that hallway, gave me Yul Brenner man in black vibes

Overall I liked this season and I do feel like its necessary, jus upset we’ll have to wait an undetermined amount of time for some answers.
