Westworld Show Idea: The Big Picture

Guys,

Now that S2 is coming to an end I think the fans would really like to hear your thoughts on the show’s various messages.

What’s the message?

There are a few moral/ethical topics that are being explored in depth and I think we’ll all be doing the show a discredit if we don’t explore them. For example:

1. At what point will AI be considered equal to a human?
2. Will AI ever really have agency?
3. What’s the commentary on ‘cornerstone’ events for (real) people? We all have cornerstones – can we overcome them or are we destined to live stuck in our own loops? 4. Loops – are we all just stuck on our own loops?

I’m sure you can think of other (better) questions, but I think your audience would like to hear a higher-level analysis of the themes of the story.
