Hello Crew,

I got a theory about Peter Abernathy. In the first episode, he glitches very badly from looking at a picture. This was before Charlotte Hale used him as a walking flash drive. The theory is that the personality of James Delos is hidden under other narratives and past characters. This would have either happened accidently (unlikely) or because the control unit/host brain belonged to one of the “Delos-bot” prototypes. Maybe Ford salvaged one to discover William’s project.

During the diagnostic/interrogation of Abernathy in the first episode, Bernard says: “this behavior is miles beyond a glitch”. But Ford barely reacts even if Abernathy threatens and grabs him. It’s like Ford knew what was happening and didn’t want to do anything as if curious about the outcome. The theory emerges from Bernard seeing similar program codes in Abernathy and the Delos-bot. And also the picture that triggered everything was of Delos’s daughter/William’s wife.

That picture and the reveries could have triggered the awakening of the dormant Delos personality and caused the emotional response and a rejection of reality similar to his cloning failures. If that’s the case and he’s slowly taking control of Abernathy’s body, he’ll likely seek revenge on William and others who did him wrong. What do you guy’s think?

Keep on the good work.
