Westworld Theory: Possible Shared Universe??

Hello crew,

On many episodes we heard about nameless third party corporations looking to get their hands on Westworld’ s IP/technology. Even if odds are that none will sound familiar, could one be actually connected to another cyborg/android/replicant franchise?

Considering the original 1973 movie inspired movies like “The Terminator”, “Alien” and “Blade Runner”, could Westworld be a prequel to one of those to this universe? I don’t think “Cyberdyne Systems” and “Weyland-Yutani” would quite fit this world. But the “Tyrell Corporation” would certainly do.

What would you think if we learned Westworld was actually in the “Blade Runner” universe?

Tin foil theory or possible story arc for a next season?
