WW S03E01 Random Tin-Foil Items

Maze symbolism:
Did anyone else notice the Incite logo is essentially just a dimensional maze? When I re-watch the spinning orb during the simulation troll scene after Liam’s award I couldn’t help but thinking that it’s a nod to a deeper part of reality that some people are seeking. (As witnessed through Liam’s stoned simulation in a simulation rant) I’m willing to place a bet on the simulation in a simulation trope coming back in later episodes of this season. So far we’ve received a strong hint towards it in E01, and a literally example of it in play during E02.

Caleb as a host: Hear me out a bit…. very OK being wrong on this one.

Sure, we get a lot of ‘everyone is in a loop’ vibes from Caleb’s scenography and setting. We get him waking up in the morning as if he’s in a loop, blah, blah, blah however… there are two hints that have kept this door open for me based on the first episode: [A] I’m curious if Incite is working on their own versions of Delos-like hosts that operate in TRW; perhaps we are seeing a host, but built for a different intention, by a different company. THEORY: Caleb was killed or severely hurt in the military and has been ‘brought back’ heavily augmented or full host and his cornerstone is Francis. Incite nudges Caleb to take care of anomaly tasks and gain some credibility in the underworld but kept safe enough to go under the radar by not doing personals.

[B] I predict Delores has possibly interacted with pre-host Caleb or Francis in Westworld; she mentions she has friends in Los Angeles during Liam’s award ceremony after-party-the episode immediately transitions to a flashback of Caleb/Francis TINFOIL HAT THEORY: Delores knows pre-host Caleb and somehow has orchestrated a reunion with him in LA not knowing that Incite may have switched out the Caleb she knew from the park. [???] Is Incite connecting dots based on data and playing out a strategy of using host-Caleb as it’s version of a mole on in Delores’s revolution?

Maybe it’s my coronacabin fever or just really, really being into all the possibilities for Rohoboem, but I’m willing to live on this tin-foil island for a bit longer and see what happens.
