Hey Guys,

Have been a big fan of your Westworld reviews since jump street. This is the 2nd time I’ve written in.

I keep seeing various comments ( not just yours) about the different speed that time passes in The Sublime vs Real World. But I’ve yet to see anyone suggest anything near as large of a time interval that I estimate.

Akechita tells Bernard that 1 year in the Real World is equivalent to a millennium in The Sublime. So the ratio of years is 1000:1. Next we know 7-8 years has passed since the end of season 3 AND that IF the leader of the resistance in S4 Ep3 is as assumed a grown up Frankie ( Let’s say she is between 25-35 now ) then by my calculation the elapsed time in The Sublime is something like 25,000 to 35,000 years.

Not sure it changes the narrative but the Implications of that as far as technological and social evolution of the hosts in The Sublime is kind of mind-boggling. ( e.g. The bulk of human Science and Technology has evolved meaningfully over only a few hundred years. ) These Sublime Hosts are now God level ” aliens” to humans.

Am I missing something or do you agree ?

In any event – Keep up the great work !
