Love your show. I have not read the book and really come into this show from the perspective of a TV guy- I’m there for Fuller and Slade. I enjoyed their work on Hannibal and I expected a bit of the same but I must say this show, so far, is verging on a copy of that style. I like it, but we need more story! The high speed film slow mo close ups on water and fire and blood and more blood and more blood is visual masturbation and I can appreciate it as metaphor, mood and from a purely artistic perspective, but damn it’s repetitive. The dissonant music is as well. What is your perspective? I’ll stick around but it’s getting tenuous. Peace!
