Clementine drags Bernard to Lab 12 because Ford wants him to release Elsie and reveal the James Delos project to her, in the hopes that she will expose the project to the outside world. Ford wants to expose the Delos corruption and warn others that there are other hybrids in the park and possibly in the outside world. His legacy is to reveal that he was fighting against this evil and therefore that the Delos Board deserves their fate. Note that Ford has the Ghost Nation rescue the non-Board guests.
