About the Audrey Graveyard Scene

……aaaaannd we’re back!

I’ve been waiting for this for a while fellas. I listened to the audio book last month and new this show was going to be deep. I am glad I am familiar with the source material.

First, I disagree about the Audrey graveyard scene. I loved it and I thought the scene was great. I will agree that her face looked a little “rhinoplasticky” but I enjoyed the scene even though it wasn’t in the book. I would have rather seen her spit on Laura’s face in the casket but i’ll live.

Second,
The Technical boy scene was expanded and changed greatly. In the book, Tech boy only wants Shadow to deliver a message to Wednesday. Killing Shadow was not his purpose. I think that the slaughter of the “tech minions” was changed to (SPOILERS) set up Laura’s role as Shadow’s hidden protector.

Lastly,
I agree with Big D, without the source material it is somewhat difficult to follow. Even if you haven’t read the book most people know that Neil Gaiman creates trippy stuff to begin with. I think the style of the show and Ian McShane are keeping non book readers interested. Just like West World, American Gods will get better by the episode.

As usual, this is the best podcast going.
