Basement Level and Maeve’s Facility Tour

Are we to believe that the Basement level was operational for WW movie and that’s why we see the Gunslinger in the background? Part of me says no because it’s hard to believe the computers would be compatible. There is also the decommissioned host storage level that seemed to have a different purpose at one point in time, almost like a welcome lobby with a fountain where the big globe was. Alas, if there is no link between movie and series then the Gunslinger is simply an Easter egg.

I agree that Maeve exploring the other levels unnoticed is far-fetched. Shes a major character and has been around a while so how would other techs not notice. Plus, The techs/workers have specific uniforms it seems. Butchers and cleaners have the red gloves and boots, next level had white, then techs wearing black examine the finished product. On the flipside, Maeve and Felix could certainly be able to tour unnoticed if the workers and techs were robots themselves, but that would imply Felix is a robot which I don’t believe. Thereby concluding this whole scene, as cool as it was to see, doesn’t jive with me and seems to be forced.

Great catch on the color-coding! I knew there was something to the prominent red on their uniforms, but couldn’t quite pin it down.

I think the MiB in the background is simply an Easter egg, as you stated. Nice to see the show having a little fun without being goofy.
