Charlotte Questions

Hey Guys,

LOVE your podcasts, thank you for all the time and effort you put in.

I’ve never written in before, but my wife and I had a couple big questions about Charlotte and I said, “I think I know who to ask.”

1. Why did we see Dolores “printing” a new Charlotte in the real world? Dolores left Westworld in Charlotte’s body –> So why the need to print a second Charlotte? Are we to believe that Dolores’ plan involves TWO Charlottes running around the real world?

2. Why didn’t Dolores impart knowledge from Charlotte’s “Book” into the fake Charlotte? You guys seemed to think that fake Charlotte had been provided all of the necessary info to effectively pretend to be Charlotte.

But if this was true, why didn’t Charlotte know that the ex-husband was an EX?

Why did it seem like it was a huge revelation when the ex-husband mentioned that she had a son??? It really came across as if the whole “you have a son named Nathan” thing was a surprise to fake Charlotte.

These thingsjumped out at us big time and I’d love to hear your thoughts.

And finally, here’s why I think it could be the MIB in Charlotte:

1. The predatory nature she alludes to when killing the pedophile

2. Nathan awakens MIB’s paternal instincts and gives him a chance to right some wrongs from his past life (y’know, making sure he doesn’t machine gun his new kid like he did his first kid)

3. The only hiccup is fake Charlotte’s subservience to Dolores, right? However, we know that MIB is in a simulation at some point based on end of Season 2. What if Dolores was running that simulation?

We also learned time in a simulation can run slower or faster than it runs in the real world. So in a simulation, could Dolores have spent say 50 years breaking down the MIB and turning him into an errand boy? If she did, could those 50 years have only taken 20 minutes of real world time?

Oh and also I think it’s Ford inside the replica of Liam’s bodyguard, ok byyyeeee!

Thanks again,

Andy

I think she probably did use knowledge from Charlotte’s book. I think it’s the only way to keep Charlotte from immediately being labeled an impostor.
