Delos / Abernathy

Dear Shat hosts:

Really enjoyed your episode 2 deep dive. The idea that Jim Delos became Peter Abernathy sounds plausible. So Delos was dying per his coughing and words at his retirement party. If he planned to transfer his consciousness into a host, a la Altered Carbon, I would think the newly crowned William would have trouble with that. He wouldn’t want his father in law to live forever and get in his way. He could stick Delos in Abernathy and force him to live an endless loop. Maybe when Delos realized what was happening he screamed in horror and the staff had to hold him down as we have seen in the trailer.

Since all of the hosts except for Maeve and her friends have explosives in their spines, they can’t leave the park. Dolores wants to conquer the human/guest world. Wouldn’t she have to resleeve all of her people, including herself, into bodies without explosives in order to accomplish her plan?

So a lot of people are talking about Westworld being in China. I thought Westworld was on another planet but China just discovered it first. Makes more sense to me given how big Westworld and all the other parks are.
