Dothraki And Melisandre

Love your show! The moment I saw Melisandre and realized what she was doing with the Dothraki swords, my initial reaction was that she was up to no good. Here’ my theory:

Melisandre came in, lit the Dothraki on fire and then they went off to be killed by the enemy. This looked like a sacrifice to the God of Light to me. In the end the living were victorious. I wonder if the dothraki hadn’t been ‘sacrificed’ if the living would have been the last ones standing.

Before this episode I get all my GOT podcasting from you guys, but this week I listened to other pods to see if anyone else had had the same idea. Turns out no one has brought it up. What do you all think?

Follow up: was it planned for the Dothraki to be the first attack or were they so emboldened by their fire swords that they broke ranks?
