In response to Natalie,
I”m thinking one of three things will end up happening.
1. Dany is killed, which essentially breaks that bond with Drogon. He”s over it, and he leaves. He becomes wild, goes back to old Valyria. Ideally, the rumors are true and there are dragons there so Drogon isn’t all alone.
2. Dany dies and Jon ends up being Drogons rider- I don’t see this happening.
3. After Danys death, Arya takes her face. Thinking it”s Dany, Arya is able to get close enough to Drogon, that she is able to stab him in the eye, killing him.
