This is regarding Roger’s theory on Elsie being Hale while Bernard is plugged into the matrix. There is one event that plants that scene in time: the explosion. Hale is with mustachio dude in the map room looking at the train coming in. When the train hits, Elsie is with Bernard down in the Cradle; she reacts to the explosion! Unless there are two separate explosions happening in two separate timelines, I believe it was just a closed captioning fuck up and Elsie is really Elsie. The same can be said with Gala and Gauntlet. I think HBO needs to fire their closed captioning service and hire someone with a little less dyslexia! I’m waiting for the day where they accidentally type in Ford when Bernard is talking, OHHHH DAMN!!!!!
