Fan Theory on Dr.Ford

Hello,

Love your Podcasts. I wanted to present a big theory about who I think Ford is and who Arnold truly was.

I believe that Ford was Arnold’s first original host. I think that Ford is the Bernard to Arnold. Why?

I have always wondered why Ford is so worried about losing the park. At his age, he could negotiate a good retirement and not have a care about what happens. It would be different if he was always stating that the corporation would do some bad to the place. But what if Ford can’t leave and is a host but no one knows it.

The one key thing that Ford displays is a lack of emotional attachment to humans and even some of the hosts. He tells Bernard and Maeve that he can take their pain away by forgetting (erasing) memories.

Also, the man in black makes a direct threat on Ford about what’s inside him. This makes me think that there is doubt of Ford being human.

We never see Ford in social settings. Unlike the other humans who smoke, drink, cuss, sex… Ford seems to only be in character all the time. Playing with that 1800 century watch. And his clothes never change.
