Three things
1: the reaction you guys had to Bernard visiting his estranged wife. For me, this was So evident his wife has alzheimers. The way that disease works for some, is the loss of time. They do not realisme what time they live in. So when she saw Bernard, she did not freak out because to her in her starte, it was normal to see Arnold as he was 40 years prior, as in her condition her cant understand. When she sees himas a middleaged man, she to thinks she is in that time.

2. The fact that Dolores chose Caleb.
Earlier in the season we learned that the hosts memory works as if they live every memory and moment in the precense. So thats why Dolores could recognise and select Caleb. She sees him, her computerbrain recognise, cataloges hun and in nanoseconds would have prosessen that he was the outlayer she needed. If we use Human thought it does not compute, but as an ai, wich all hosts are, it makes total sende.

3.
I believe next season Will be BACK to timeline. I believe we Will se a caleb-story, hopefully a Dolores and a Bernard one. The reason is Bernard Long simulation. His stort Will be one timeline, and the two others two others. If that happened, in retrospect, season two Will be the middle of the story where it all alligned, and i believe we now Will se the story branch out i to different timeline again.

ON a final note: I do not believe Bernard say in that hotell for hundreds of years. If he did, the mogel would have rotted. Judging in the dyst onStubbs episode 3 Three months after the incident, I would say 4-7 years.
