Hale’s Identity Speculation

Hey Shat Crew!

Mattie here. Long time listener, first time writing in. I wanted to discuss an idea regarding Charlotte Hale’s identity that I haven’t seen discussed too much. It seems like a lot of people are focused on past characters we’ve seen in the show inhabiting the body of Charlotte ranging from Peter Abernathy to Teddy Flood and even Clementine. However what if, “Hale”, is someone entirely new? A completely new individual created by Dolores.

Now that some of the hosts are out of the park, wouldn’t the fight for existence and survival only be one part of new life for the hosts? I believe that creating new hosts, not just preserving existing ones, is one of the keys to longevity for the hosts as a new species. It would be interesting to me if Hale is a completely new host created by another host. This new being would be some one that wouldn’t be based off of a human (living or deceased) and wouldn’t be a character created for the park. I like thinking about the implications this possibility has for the long term future of the hosts; that Dolores has the capacity to imagine and create something that hasn’t been created before. I’m loving this season so far and am excited for the next episode.
