How did Teddy get Here?

Hello, hosts,

Just listened to the insacast. I’m not sure what you all we’re expecting, but calling this episode criminal minds is a bit over the top. This show is not easily digestible to most… remember every few episodes they have to tie a neat bow on everything to keep average non-tin foil-wearing viewer on board. Not everybody rewatches every episode and goes frame by frame for plot points. Haven’t you learned to trust the showrunners by now? Nolan and Joy have our backs.

Now, I’d like to address the role of Christina. What did Teddy mean, you did this to yourself? Well here is a guess. Charloris is of course Deloris. She assigned this role of writing the human narratives to herself. In much the same way she knew she needed to create a Bernard in season 3, there had to be a yin to her yang. A fail-safe to know if the system was really working. The check in with an old friend is a continual systems check, and the security you asked about. If anyone is going to find a way to break the system it is Delores herself.

Another thing, why aren’t we asking more about teddy? We just accept he is there? How? Is he a host? A person? He has all the answers in almost a Ford level of clarity. Could Bernard with the help of Maive (the weapon) have brought him back from the sublime and built him a new body? Convincing him that he had the chance to save his true love from destroying the world? Knowing if anyone could cause Deloris to rethink what she was doing it was him? What do you think?
