How Does Night King Win? Doesn’t Happen

Hello everyone,

First time long time here. While I’m certainly not as elegant and insightful as many e mailers but this week seems pretty straight forward: Night King is defeated in this fight. This is based on the simply what we, the fans, want to see it.

The show is know for deaths that happen that no one sees coming, but when really was the last time that happened? Seems lately the show has been not so much about the deaths/big moments but more about how they occur. When is the last time there was some crazy unforeseen moment? The last major death, Little Finger, we(the fans) wanted him to die, knew it was coming the only surprise was how it occurred. We wanted the group led by in Beyond the Wall to survive, they did but their escape was the only unforeseen moment. And lastly the last two weeks has been mostly “getting the band back together” moments. We wanted Brienne and Jamie to “hook up” and they did by the Knighting Breinne, that was their moment. We wanted the Hound and Arya to have their good bye, we saw this, their moment. We wanted Jorah to say good bye to Daenerys, and it happened. My point is fan service had happened recently, particular this season, so no reason to believe it won’t happen again and the fan service we want to see is the Starks fighting the Lannister’s. Is anyone going to be satisfied with part of the starks army/family going to fight with the Lanncasters vs the White Walkers? No one wants that. The Lancaster’s fighting the Walkers with an undead Jon Snow and His crew on the bad guys side? Nope. All this makes me believe we get an upset victory in this weeks show.

Want to be clear, we know characters fans love are going to die this week and I’m not saying that the all white walkers and the Night King are killed but the Starks win this fight.

Sorry for the long email. Hope that makes sense

Thank you

Patrick Richards
