How Many Charlotte Hales?
I listen to several Westworld podcasts during the season and I haven’t heard anyone say this about the opening scene between Charlotte and Delores. How many times has Delores had to rebuild Charlotte since the end of season 2?
It’s Delores in a Charlotte body who escapes Westworld. She (Delores) has to build herself a Delores body and then put a mystery pearl inside the Charlotte host (seriously, who is in there?). In the opening scene of episode 3 we see a newly made Charlotte body emerge from the white stuff and Delores brings her online. Later in the episode when she’s clearly unraveling and Delores is getting the hotel rooms Charlotte asks is Delores is booking the two adjacent rooms in case she has to kill her? Delores patches her up and leaves this time but has she had to intervene and eliminate an unraveling Charlotte host and start over? Why is she making a Charlotte body when there was already a Charlotte body? That could be why she goes home and doesn’t remember her son. She’s having the same issues Daddy Delos would have when confronted with his reality.
I hear lots of folks starting to talk about timelines but I believe the timelines this season are linear. What I’m questioning is the nature of my reality. Love the podcast found you Westworld season one stayed through GoT and Taboo (I seriously loved) that show. Keep up the good work!

I do think we may be seeing some failed fidelity testing here, for sure.
