Your podcast is super fun. Love the way you brainstorm, question and laugh at each other.
After listening to the “cubs win the world episode” i have 2 thoughts/theories i feel compelled to share.

One:DeLos owns several such parks with different themes. Watch the first 5 minutes of the 1973 movie; it is a commercial for DeLos fantasy vacations, West World, Gladiator World and Future World. So there must be multiple parks, with domes being the labs, body shops, storage offices etc.

Two:Man in Black is Arnold but does not know it.
We have been presented the following; Man in Black uber-gamer wants to blow up the game, free the hosts. Dolores was helping Arnold destroy the park, and failed. Arnold “died”. Dolores is cast by Ford into a punishment loop straight out of Greek Mythology. Ford has some long lost emotional tie to Dolores. (Jilted because she chose to ally with Arnold?) Man in Black has no emotional attachment to Dolores yet enjoys taunting Ford by adding her to Teddy’s Wyatt-Hunt storyline.
Then…

In the saloon conversation between Ford and Black, Ford calls out Black’s anxiety and snarks about his solving the maze as a journey of self discovery. That has to mean that Ford knows something about the Man in Black.

And…
Man in Black decides to make himself the villain the park always needed. Ford snarks the he could not have made up a such a character, which is clearly baiting Black. Recall that Man in Black griping about the shoddy new generation fleshy hosts. He thought the originals were beautiful.

So the story that after the first 3 years when there were no guests, Arnold “died” in the park. Did he indeed go insane and become the Man in Black (tyler durden) Did he get killed and have his consciousness smuggled out of the park… by Dolores.. which could mean he is looking for the maze to reactivate the Arnold within? And then he can go break all his buddies out of underground storage.

And now I am lost down the rabbit hole and hope you might reply to this email. Why oh why didn’t I take the Blue Pill.

Thanks, – TerriSan Antonio TX

Can I just say how much I love the use of “snarks” as a verb?
