Millennium Clock Could Be A Doctor Manhattan Trap

While listening to your Episode 4 Deep Dive at the very end Roger mentioned how the wonder of the new world can only be destroyed by a direct nuclear blast “or something similar” it triggered a ah-ha moment. As you 2 mentioned Lady Trieu reveres Ozamandius and his works, so she created a device that will put the USA (or world) in such a cataclysmic event only Dr. Manhattan can stop it, thus forcing him to return to earth to stop it. As Ozamandius sent Dr. Manhattan away, so knows only a equally destructive scenario can get his attention to bring him back to earth. If she wants to get revenge on Dr. Manhattan for his involvement of the Vietnam war or some other motive I have no idea. Oh and Lady Trieu’s daughter is obviously her clone, and her nightmares are from Lady Trieu’s own past haunting her.
