Next stop: Flashback city

Hey guys,

With the holiday weekend I was just now able to catch up on the last two episodes of the podcast so I’ll talk a little bit about episode 6 and 7.

I cant help but disagree that 7 was worse than 6. They are starkly different in the sense that 6 had one major reveal in the back story of old man Will being hooded justice. Whereas episode 7 had nearly three million reveals.

To me for a series that is only 9 episodes why did we have to watch so much of Will Reaves backstory???? Yeah it was cool and gave us a lot of info as to what cyclops is and some insight into Hooded Justice’s secrets (both race and sexuality) but as far as story progression for this series…does it even matter??? I feel like they could have used the screentime more efficiently and thus not felt the need to cram so many storylines in episode 7. Which yeah it had a kitchen sink feel but it at least starts to converge all the plot lines to what seems to be winding up to an amazing last two episodes.

That being said I don’t see our days of flashbacks is over anytime soon, sorry BigD, you know there’s gonna be more back story for Cal/Dr.M and how he met with Angela. Plus probably something more on Lady Trieu’s up bringing parents etc etc.

My biggest gripe however is the lack of arguably the best character in the entire series….Looking Glass. Looking forward to how this all comes together in the end.
