My Alternate Ending

Hey Guys,

Imagine if after Bran says to Jon Snow, “Why do you think I’ve traveled this far,” we were treated to a 10-minute montage of all the major conflicts and pivotal turning points of the series as seen from above, as seen from the viewpoint of Bran, the third-eyed raven. All those times we wondered “where the hell is Bran?” would be answered in this montage. We would see him guiding the Lords of the veil toward the battle of the bastards. We would see him preventing soldiers efforts in Kings Landing to stop Sansa from leaving after the purple wedding. We would see him protecting Arya as she ran towards the carnage of the red wedding. Maybe he’s the one who sent uncle BenJen in to help Jon escape the white walkers. And we would understand that he had a subtle yet affective hand in all of these major events and he’s been guiding the story all along. It would be an expensive shot they would have to shoot all of those events from a different perspective but I’m sure they have some of that extra footage lying on the cutting room floor somewhere. I think that would’ve helped fans understand Bran’s power, and we wouldn’t feel like he was such a useless piece of shit up until now.

I went into the ending with very low expectations, and it’s safe to say that they exceeded those expectations. Did I love it? No. Did I hate it? No. That’s where I’m at. Thanks for listening guys.
