Hi, my Name is Jasmine.

I just want you to know I enjoy the show. I want to share some of my thoughts with you.

I was reading something that Tom Hardy said. And I am thinking that James is only the step brother. The sister is the child of the second wife. Which would make James’s bloodline father her step-father?

Throne will not be killed at the gun fight. But he will get what he deserves later. Hardy was saying nothing is what it seems and that the sister is what I call a devil in a red dress. And that there is more to her there we think. So we might be looking at this wrong. Maybe she is the passive aggressive one. Not James.

Also, James was captured he said. So I think that’s when he picked up some of the tribe’s ways. I don’t think James and the sister have had physical sex. She states that they were children while speaking to step mother in the ladies room.

Also James’s father’s wife I think might have heard of the daughter but never seen her before. So that would explain why by the face she didn’t realize her. And the sister did not explain who she was until the end of the conversation. Hardy said nothing is what it seems.

Tell me what you think.

Do you think the thought of moving to Australia propelled Zilpha to kill Thorne, I would have preferred her killing him to save her life more action, James didn’t look that happy to see her strange considering he loves her?! Where we supposed to realize he cleaned up after her in the past?! He didn’t touch her tenderly and say oh your poor face etc Granted he’d had a hectic few days…Thought the looks they exchanged in the graveyard were hilarious and I assumed he just wanted to make sure there was no way anyone would bother digging Thorne up plus how did he not roast in that coat doing such a physical task lol also Zilpha inserting the ? pin was classic

I don’t think James killed Winter that looked like he was being framed. He does seem to be unraveling so who knows what’s going to happen. As always enjoy your show . I had to look up the phrase at Bedlam “mens sana in corpore sano” a sound mind is a sound body. Do you think his Mum was performing a ritual in the water and not trying to drown him. Also think it’s odd the way Lorna was trying to manipulate him and I wonder did she try the same with Horace?! Is she a spy?!

In Episode 6, the sign “Mens dana in corpora sano”
does not make sense. I think it’s a typo for the Latin saying “mens sana in corpore sano,” which means “a sound mind IN a sound body,” not IS.

      • Dick Ebert says:

I agree, they had to have meant “mens sana in corpore sano” which usually translated as “a sound mind in a sound body”. The Latin phrase was also used in Satire X from the Roman poet Juvenal (10.356). It is the first in a list of what is desirable in life:

        English translation:
You should pray for a healthy mind in a healthy body.
Ask for a stout heart that has no fear of death,
and deems length of days the least of Nature’s gifts
that can endure any kind of toil,
that knows neither wrath nor desire and thinks
the woes and hard labors of Hercules better than
the loves and banquets and downy cushions of Sardanapalus.
        What I commend to you, you can give to yourself;
For assuredly, the only road to a life of peace is virtue.
