People Freeze When Christina Looks At The Homeless Guy

Ill be brief. I noticed previously that when Christine is staring at the homeless guy ranting about the sound and birds, there are people in the background who appear frozen/still. I assumed it was the director asking the actors to not move much in the frame, but now realise it may have been a subtle visual clue for the audience. I guess Ill have to watch all the New York scenes again to see if there are other subtle anomalies. Thanks for all your hard work.
