Westworld Season 2 Finale Thoughts

Hey Guys,

This is Ben. Been listening to your podcasts on Westworld since day 1, sorry I missed out on Taboo. On your thought on William in the after credits scene. HBO released a featurette confirming that William wasn’t hallucinating all of it, they vaguely say that he might be a host now. Since Lisa Joy herself confirmed that he’s somewhere in a future timeline, not stated when, being tested for fidelity like how he tested on James Delos. She also said that he’s facing his greatest nightmare right now, something he wanted to destroy since the start of season 1. My theory on how he got to the ruined FORGE is that the events of season 1 and 2, coincide with what he’s experiencing in the fidelity test. Everything did happen, it’s just that for him, it might’ve been the hundredth time he’s gone through it.

My mind has been rattled and thrown around after this last episode, and this is my take on what happened. Thanks for reading guys, keep up the good work on any new series to come.
