I feel like Podrick drank in that moment because he was embarrassed for Brianne. He knew that would be a difficult question for her to respond to.

Also, I don’t know if Jaime has a plan, I just think that he is so addicted to the abuse that he has to be with her. This gets played out in every abusive relationship/drug addiction relationship… and it usually takes someone trying to kick the habit more than once before they succeed. I think rehab statistics are about 7. This is number 2 for him. The first was when he headed North and the second was sleeping with Brianne (in an abusive relationship, that was a small act of independence) I’m not surprised by him return. He is an addict.
