Possible Proof Maeve’s Rebellion Is Scripted and She Knows It

Hey guys, great show. I know you like to keep your podcasts short and sweet, but if you guys just want to ramble on for an hour after the main points I wouldn’t mind.

Anyway, on my second watching of episode 9, I noticed something in the scene where Maeve catches Hector peeing in the woods and then she tells him the script of how his gang is going to kill each other. She even mentions that in this “script” the snake tattoo lady will say to Hector “you damn fool.” This is where things get sketchy. The snake tattoo lady only says that line because of a reaction to seeing Maeve with Hector.

You can see the snake lady look at Maeve and then back at Hector and then say the line. This means that Maeve’s little rebellion and running off with Hector is a part of the script and it’s possible that Maeve knows this. Perhaps she sees and knows that her plan of rebellion is just a script destined to fail. And perhaps she is off to fight destiny and actually try to succeed.
