In Regards to Dr. Ford as the Singularity

Hi Fellas-
Really appreciate all of the down the rabbit-hole theories and tin-foil hat crack pottery that sets your podcast apart from all the rest. It makes my own daily loops bearable to listen to you guys while I am working.

That being said, I am shocked, SHOCKED I tells you, that the unsaid influence of futurist/author Dr Ray Kurzweil has never gotten even a single mention in all my Westworld research. A simple google search pulls up numerous books he has written regarding creating machine intelligence/AI that date back nearly 30 years. Beginning with 1990’s “The Age of Intelligent Machines” through 2005’s “The Singularity is Near” (also a movie of the same name) and, more recently, 2012’s “How to Create a Mind”. I will keep my own supporting thoughts brief, and end it there; but after seeing the limitless possibilities posited by Dr. Kurzweil in “The Singularity” to the very select few who would possess an almost God-Like intelligence, it would go a long way towards explaining the complete control over all the ‘drone’ hosts Dr Ford possesses within his park, as well as having an encyclopedic knowledge of all his guests/employees actions and histories.

Thanks for hopefully sharing my own original Tin Foil Hat Theory (fingers crossed on entry into the Hall of Fame on this week’s Telegram), also sorry for all the run-on sentences. Remember you heard it here first if/when it pans out.
