Just want to remind you not to forget that Westworld is notorious for giving us broken timelines that can span decades.

Aaron Pauls story can potentially span years from his introduction to meeting Dolores. Bernard’s story could be happening sometime significantly down the road from the Los Angeles storyline. Maeve’s storyline could be deep in the future as well… potentially in a rebuilt and reestablished park. It may have taken dolores years to get established on the mainland… the only thing we really know is the opening scene happened within a short time after the host rebellion and Charlotte’s meeting takes place roughly three months later… and that’s it.

and don’t forget that that ‘host’ William has been running a reconstruction of the host rebellion in a perpetual loop for god knows how long into the future… what we saw in season 2 may have been a glorified simulation and we may not have all the details from the actual uprising.
