So Dolores explained to Caleb about Rehoboam in near identical terms as a mirror of the real world. I guess we don’t have to wonder if the show hosts are aware of SWS (Sentient World Simulation). There is a lot on line but a white paper I found from 2006 called: Sentient World Simulation A Concept Paper for Comments. It is really good despite being rather dated. I would check it out if I were all of you.

Also, it was clear to me from the start that the guest data info being stolen from the park that Charlotte was behind last season was the connection between Charlotte/Delos and Serac/Insight. That would be the info necessary to feed into Rehoboam. Serac is doing what the DoD and other US agencies have been doing with SWS for years now. The predictive capability after running a simulation of a scheme the person or agency want to pull off will influence if they try it in the real world or run it as a false flag. You can imagine the power and potential control of a society that can be gained from its use, so safe to say Serac is a bad guy and Dolores might be on her way to freeing humanity from the cage they are in not wiping humanity out.
