The “gay” element to the narrative

Just a quick point on your discussion of the “gay” element of the story. I think given the time period (80/90’s) a lot of people perceived being gay on a par with being a child molester. I think the show gives good context into the “public morals” at the time. As an epilogue to my comment, sadly I know gay men who lived a lot of their adult life during that era and still are having issues about being open about the orientation aka Roland.
Finally, I am not looking forward to American Gods (best looking worst show on TV) but will watch it as a very good aperitif to your great podcast. Next year, please please consider looking at doing a review show on The Handmaids Tale or even Young Sheldon LOL!!!
Best.
