The Felix Of It All

Hiya! Tried to leave a voicemail, failed miserably so here is a quick food for thought and a question…

I’ve found myself thinking last night about Felix. You know that guy who worked as a Butcher at Delos and stupidly some would say walked Maeve around as her entire head space exploded comprehending exactly the nature of her reality. The line of relevance that stuck out to me was Sylvester saying, ” they should have weeded that out in utero…” a line suggesting their role in society was somehow predetermined and with the introduction to Reho that makes all the more sense even if apparently no one knew to what extent. Felix was told what he could be and decided in secret to defy that and that skill and empathy is what drew Maeve to him to begin with; does that make him another outlier and how does that oppose to Caleb if he is as well?
