The Man Who Should Be King

Have a Theory? Share It Now!

Hey Guys,

Varys – always looking out for the “Good of The Realm”, open-minded, willing to give/take advice.

My re-write: Tyrion takes the “high road”, and teams up with Varis to convince Jon about what needs to be done after “Mad Dany” emerges.

Jon has the personal access to get the deed done and still “goes North” with Ghost and Tormund where he was truly happiest with Ygritte (and out of the reach of Grey Worm or other Unsullied or Xothraki).

Varis – like Bran – cannot father children but will be a much more “engaged” ruler. He has no family or “House” allegiances.

Bran should be an ADVISOR to all future selected kings (don’t the 3-eyed Ravens live for ages?), Tyrion could be Varis’ “Hand” (third time is the charm)?

My only other wishful change would be to let Ser Jorah to survive as to represent the Mormonts (weren’t Lyanna’s and his father’s deaths ENOUGH? After Dany is gone, he could sit on the Small Council as the advisor of War. This would also make what Sam did for him and the greyscale worth the pain and risk they both took.
